Large Zounés Cakes (1.35kg)

There’s only one thing better than a store bought chocolate fudge Zounes cake… and that’s a freshly baked, delivered same day chocolate fudge Zounes cake!!! Delivered in 60 minutes! Too fresh to resist!! Absolutely delicious!!! Ten stars!!!

Tried the truffle the other night, my days was it good. I would highly recommend, living in Capetown we’ve been missing out for years got it delivered and was very impressed with the quality of the Cake.

Wonderful service and delicious cakes. Reminds me of my childhood visiting family and eating this cake.
I ordered the milk chocolate and my son warmed it and added whipped cream with it and loved it. My next order is the truffle as that was the one I am most fond of. 😊 ill definitely be making a purchase again.

Moist, tasty, fresh

Had the opportunity to try the Milk Chocolate, Fudge and Vanilla cake.. i thought the Fudge would have neen my favourite.. Definitely Vanilla took number 1 spot.. they all although deliciously delectable, moist and rich.. mouth watering cakes.

I just wanted to say a huge thank you for the absolutely divine cake! 🎂❤️ It was not only beautiful, but tasted incredible — every bite was simply delicious! 😍

I was also so impressed with the excellent delivery service. Everything arrived perfectly and right on time.

Thank you for putting so much care and love into what you do. You truly have a gift, and I will definitely be ordering from you again. I highly recommend you! 🌸✨

Thank you for making my special occasion even sweeter! ❤️🎂

Once you have one of these you’ll never eat another cake again… mark my words!

Super fresh and delicious 😋

Tried at Fourways Gardens Spar, I must say… Every ingredient you can tell is high quality and real. There’s nothing artificial about this Cake. Will buy this weekend again.

Worth every single cent!!!

It was an average chocolate cake,

We recently purchased the Chocolate Fudge Cake, and it exceeded all our expectations. The cake was incredibly rich, moist, and full of indulgent chocolate flavour. The fudge icing was smooth, creamy, and not overly sweet.

What impressed us most was the freshness and quality of the ingredients. Every bite was decadent and satisfying, making it the perfect dessert for our occasion. The balance between the cake and the fudge topping was excellent, creating a delicious treat that appealed to everyone.

Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed the cake and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious, high-quality chocolate dessert. It was a real crowd-pleaser; we will definitely be purchasing it again in the future. 🍫🎂😊 Delivery was excellent- 60 mins- and the cake arrived well packaged and intact. Zounés Cakes has been our all-time favourite, worth every cent spent!!!

I’ve ordered cakes from this business three or four times now, and every order has been wonderful. The cakes are always fresh, light and fluffy, with that lovely homemade taste. Even the packaging is beautifully done, so the whole experience feels thoughtful and special. I’m happy to recommend them and will certainly be ordering again.

Tried these Cakes first time on Saturday, I cannot even say how amazing it was, I bought the 1,35kg cake thinking it would be to much... I finished it within 2 days. by myself....

The cake never arrived and still waiting for my refund since 13 August 2026, despite follow up calls and emails.

The best cake i have ever tasted, moist and fresh

My order was available for collection but when I went to collect in Dainfern, the flavour wasn't available, i had to take something else and no one has responded to my email or Instagram message, you guys need to improve with your communication and respond .

Had my first Zounes Cake more than 16 years ago. From Fruitspot Woodmead. It became a special treat and I haven't bought any other chocolate cake since. Birthdays and special occasions always zelebrated with Zounes... never been dissapointed.

Good quality
Fresh
Tasty

Always delicious although I ordered the wrong cake and the icing was hard instead of the usual moist icing!

Consistently the best cake you can buy in JHB

Your cakes are always amazing

I think you need to highlight that fudge is a much darker and less milk chocolate icing. I was not as pleased with it as I normally am with the milk chocolate . The milk chocolate also I feel could do with a little more icing 🙂

Amazing! There wasn’t even a slice left at the party. Delicious! Will definitely buy again.

Loved the freshness and the taste of the cakes and the cupcakes that I ordered.

Always a treat. The best chocolate cake in the country without a doubt.

Absolutely delicious. Pure gourmet indulgence

My sister recommended I try your product given the reviews received from friends and family. I was delighted to see a beautiful cake delivered for a small treat on my sister's birthday that weekday night, but was disappointed with an unpleasant saltiness - either as a result of too much rising agent/ baking powder, or salt used in the cake batter.

A pity... since all recommendations were so high...
I opted for a variety of Chateau Gateaux cakes for the family gathering over the weekend as a result.

Where’s my discount code for my order Teresa Rains 0846527829

I ordered the chocolate truffle and the chocolate fudge cakes. Cakes were moist, however the flavor seemed to be different from what I remembered and not quite as enjoyable.

Heavenly!
